Senior Project Manager

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in software development, agency or in-house production / project management; PMP certification required
  • Evidence knowledge, experience and skill to construct a scope of work including budget, timeline, requirements, deliverables and project plan
  • Proven success managing project scope, deliverables and project teams
  • Working knowledge of production and project management tools including or similar to Google Drive, Basecamp, Highrise, iWork (Pages, Numbers, etc)
  • Experience with methods of resourcing and managing utilization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Organizational and operational prowess
  • Proactive understanding and genuine interest in the past, present and future of design and technology
  • Confidence during conflict and ability to construct and propose rational solutions
  • Adaptable to a constantly changing environment
  • Proven portfolio of successful projects you’ve produced from concept to execution; emphasis on strategy, design, development, analytics and emerging technologies
  • Common sense

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage project scope, budget, and schedules ; proactive identification of opportunities, risks and blockers presenting actionable solutions, monitor and maintain project margin
  • Motivate and champion teams to push innovation and remain engaged with project initiatives, inspire bringing people together to solve problems
  • Set up and participate in internal and client reviews; lead kick-off meetings with additional executive support
  • Communicating and set expectations with the team and clients for the status and performance of current projects on a daily and weekly cadence
  • Manage multiple projects with parallel timelines; project scope, budget, and schedules; proactive identification of opportunities, risks and blockers presenting actionable solutions, monitor and maintain project margin
  • Respond and provide constructive feedback to user flows, wireframes, design, build reviews, and technical specifications
  • Effective management of project resources; monthly, weekly and daily allocation, utilization and optimization
  • Provide business development support; participate in and / or assist with interpreting and constructing a response to RFP
  • Work directly with CEO and dept Directors to curate project vision from RFPs to execution

  • Clients that love you
  • Understanding of IA/UX standards and trends across all devices
  • Project Management for product development
  • Experience coding and/or designing. (note: for empathetic purposes only)
  • Experience with sales or business development
  • Understand “minimum viable” thinking
  • Any broadcast or digital video experience, CG, projections, etc. (integrated skills)
